About the event
The conference will bring together animal NGOs, rescue organisations and activists to discuss the future of animal protection in Malta, with a particular focus on Vuċi għall-Annimali’s proposal:
“From Welfare to Protection” - https://www.vucighallannimali.com/fromwelfaretoprotection
This proposal aims to move Malta towards a stronger framework for animals through improved policy, enforcement, responsible ownership, and collaboration between authorities and the animal welfare community.
The conference will also be attended by the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, other government ministers, members of the opposition and political parties, providing an important opportunity for the animal welfare community to share concerns, experiences and ideas directly with national decision-makers.
