Veganism is compassionate - Hunting is murder

Updated: May 28

The hypocrisy of the Maltese hunting lobby knows no bounds.

After being exposed for supporting foie gras—a so-called “delicacy” made by the cruel force-feeding of ducks—they’ve now turned their sights on attacking vegans and veganism in Malta.

Astonishingly, they’re calling vegans arrogant and claiming we’re forcing our beliefs onto others. Funny, isn’t it? It sounds like they’re confusing us with their foie gras–loving friends who literally shove food down animals’ throats.

Let’s talk about choice.

What choice do migratory birds have when they’re gunned down mid-flight over Malta?

What choice do the rest of us have to enjoy nature without gunshots shattering the peace?

Vegans don’t impose anything on anyone. But hunters impose death on innocent animals and steal nature from the rest of us.

It’s a strange world when people who speak for life and compassion are branded “extremists” by those with blood on their hands. Sadly, this twisted narrative isn’t unique to Malta—it’s part of a global pattern. These self-proclaimed “victims” always play the same tired tune to justify violence. But we see right through it.
